Azzedine Alaïa (1935-2017) Azzedine Alaïa was a Tunisian couturier and shoe designer, finding initial success in the 1980s. Nicknamed the "King of Cling", Alaia was most known for his unparalleled understanding of the feminine form. “For me, fashion is the body,” said Alaïa. “I make clothes; women make fashion.” Resurrection Vintage is excited to present a curated collection of vintage Azzedine Alaia fashion and accessories from the 1980s through the 2000s.
