Resurrection Vintage is excited to offer an original Vivienne Westwood & Malcolm McLaren SEX collection off-white cut-and-sew "square" t-shirt. The t-shirt features iconic "You're Gonna Wake Up One Morning And Know What Side Of The Bed You've Been Lying On..." multicolor text print and pink "Fuck" graphic conceptualized by the manager of The Clash and McLaren collaborator Bernie Rhodes. Each side of the shirt has a list. One features "good" things (Eddie Cochrane, Jamaican rude boys, Bamboo Records) and and the other "bad" things (television and Mick Jagger).
This piece was acquired from the original owner, who purchased it at the Kings Road SEX shop in the mid-Seventies. This is a rare opportunity to own an original and 100% authentic Westwood and McLaren punk SEX t-shirt.
Punk icon Johnny Thunders was famously photographed by Bob Gruen wearing a SEX "square" "What side of the bed..." t-shirt.
