Constructed from a soft black wool jersey, the dress features a rounded Peter Pan-style collar, short sleeves, and a vertical button placket extending through the bodice. Alternating panels of intricate black lace are inset vertically through the front, creating narrow windows of transparency and texture against the opaque jersey. The bodice is shaped close to the figure before transitioning into an asymmetrical twisted construction through the waist and skirt.
