The elongated, body-skimming silhouette is both understated and provocative, allowing Gaultier's signature manipulation of sheer fabric and pattern to take center stage.
Crafted from lightweight sheer black mesh, the dress features a simple scoop neckline and slim shoulder straps finished in the same ornate brown patterned textile that trims the neckline and hem. The allover print consists of irregular red-brown circular motifs outlined in cream, becoming more densely arranged toward the lower portion of the dress. The midi-length silhouette falls straight from the body with a subtle flare toward the hem, while the contrasting patterned border creates a beautiful finishing detail.
